Davide Susta is an Italian Lecturer who has been working since 1999 as practitioner / medical director in sports medicine clinics gaining great experience in clinical sports medicine services (from Pre-Participation Health Screening to rehabilitation/return to play after injury).
Davide Susta has also been appointed member of the Medical Research Committee of the Italian Federation for Winter Sports and of the International Federation Skyrunning.
Over the years he has worked as consultant for many Olympic and International athletes practicing different sports such as Cross-Country skiing, Triathlon, Ice Hockey, Football, Ice Skating and extreme sports.
- He worked as Head Team Physician for a professional basketball team (Olimpia Milano, Italy)
- He is consultant at Tennis Ireland High Performance Academy.
- He currently teaches Sports Medicine in the Athletic Therapy and Training BScHon. Programme at Dublin City University
- He has been invited to give lectures and workshops in Universities and Congresses all around the world.
He is the inventor of a patented innovative leg press used by top alpine skiers and more recently his contribution was essential to further develop isoinertial training/rehabilitation
